RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ — September 3, 2026 —
General Devices (GD), a HealthTech company specializing in emergency communication solutions, is pleased to welcome Troy Damewood as its new Customer Success Manager.
“When I began supporting CAREpoint and first met the GD team, I was impressed by the culture they displayed while working with them,” said Damewood. “Over the last two years, those vendor contacts became some of my best friends. Now I’m excited to be working with my friends to do great things!”
Troy brings a unique perspective to his role at GD, having previously experienced the company’s solutions firsthand as a CAREpoint end user in the Emergency Department. He later transitioned into an IT Analyst role, where he supported CAREpoint and e-Bridge across the HCA TriStar Division IT organization. His experience on both the clinical and IT sides gives him a valuable understanding of the challenges customers face and what they need to be successful.
As Customer Success Manager, Troy will work closely with GD customers to understand their needs, support successful adoption of GD solutions, and build strong, lasting partnerships. He is especially looking forward to meeting with customers and learning how GD can best support their goals.
Outside of work, Troy enjoys spending time outdoors, whether relaxing by the pool or enjoying the great outdoors with his wife. The couple is also actively involved in their community. Troy currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Sumner County Child Advocacy Center, while his wife serves on the Board of Directors for the Sumner County Humane Association.
