Baystate 7th Annual WNEAC Conference attended by General Devices

GD executives will answer questions and deliver information on the e-Bridge mobile telemedicine app during the Oct. 14 Baystate Medical Center event.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

RIDGEFIELD, NJ – Sept. 14, 2020 – Healthcare professionals can learn more about the General Devices (GD) e-Bridge product at the 7th Annual Western New England Acute Cardiology (WNEAC) Conference Oct. 14, 2020.

Baystate Medical Center Heart and Vascular and Baystate Continuing Interprofessional Education are coordinating the virtual meeting to support ideal cardiovascular care for their patients and the health of the community. The field of acute cardiology is rapidly changing with new and innovative treatment protocols for a wide range of conditions.

GD e-Bridge has been a game changer for Baystate Medical Center’s ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) program. GD executives will discuss how GD e-Bridge has helped lessen STEMI heart attack door to balloon time by 17% and increase STEMI activations initiated by prehospital communications by 10%.

STEMI coordinators, cardiologists, telehealth coordinators, EMS medical directors, EMS teams, the Massachusetts Department of Health, the Massachusetts Hospital Association and quality assurance teams in Massachusetts and surrounding states can learn about e-Bridge, a secure option for remote patient consults, connecting EMS and hospital care teams, during the event.

The GD e-Bridge mobile app enables live communications between and among EMS crews, medical directors and hospital teams by sharing pictures, audio, video and live streaming to determine if patient transport to a hospital is necessary. Remote patient consults are often outside the scope of a paramedic and typically need a nurse, physician’s assistant or doctor to evaluate. GD e-Bridge is configurable, enabling users to tailor the interface, alerts, buttons, authorized participants and workflow to support field personnel’s assessments.

Companies at the virtual event will provide their own exhibit content to WNEAC attendees. A GD representative will be available to answer attendees’ questions and provide additional information on the mobile telemedicine technology.

Register for the webinar to learn more about GD e-Bridge’s advantages for STEMI and cardiology patients here. Or contact us to set up a one-on-one meeting to learn more about e-Bridge.
