RIDGEFIELD, NJ – June 18, 2026 — General Devices (GD), a HealthTech company specializing in emergency communication solutions, is excited to welcome Alessia DeMatteo as its 2026 Summer Marketing Intern.
“I am excited to work at General Devices because of the meaningful impact it has on healthcare,” said DeMatteo. “I value the focus on improving communication and efficiency in emergency and patient care environments and want to be part of work that directly contributes to better patient outcomes.”
Alessia brings a strong foundation in operations and marketing through her previous experience as an Operations Intern with the Golf Association of Philadelphia, where she supported event coordination, CRM management, and cross-functional teamwork. She currently serves as Director of Administration for Delta Delta Delta, managing administrative operations for over 120 members while collaborating with leadership to improve efficiency and communication.
In her role at GD, Alessia will support the marketing team in campaign development, content creation, and performance analysis. She is eager to gain hands-on experience, contribute to real-world marketing initiatives, and further develop her skills in data-driven strategy.
Outside of work, Alessia enjoys staying active through walking, pilates, and golf. She also loves trying new foods and spending time with friends and family.
